This year in the final of the National Selection for “Junior Eurovision 2021” 11 beginner vocalists fought for the right to represent Ukraine at the competition in France.
Olena Usenko became the winner of the National selection for “Junior Eurovision-2021”. She was determined during the final in the format of a television concert on October 24. The fate of the finalists was decided by a professional jury and spectators with the help of online voting.
Olena received 52 points from the jury, the audience gave her 11. With a total of 63 points, she overtook the other participants and won.
Lena is 14 years old, lives in Belaya Tserkov and studies vocals at Katapulta art music school. Last year she also participated in the National Selection of “Junior Eurovision” and reached the final.
Who determined the winner of “Junior Eurovision”
This year the star jury included five music experts: singer and representative of Ukraine at “Eurovision-2010” ALYOSHA, TV presenter and producer Igor Kondratyuk, singer Lyuba Morozova, editor-in-chief of Karabas Live, music journalist Igor Panasov and representative of Ukraine at “Junior Eurovision” -2020 “Alexander Balabanov.
