Ukrainian singer Jerry Heil released a track based on part of Verka Serdyuchka’s 2004 rock performance.
“I’ll call the track “Jerry Heil feat. Verka Serdyuchka, “start my dream, but I couldn’t think what I would do for a whole hour of war! The video “Get out of Ukraine, the ugly Muscovite” by the Ukrainian stand-up mother Verka Serdyuchka made me take this fragment as a sample and create a song for the glory of the current Cossacks: Zelensky, Kim and Arestovich and, well, the people of Ukraine,” Jerry Heil wrote in the video YouTube.
The text of the song #MOSKAL_NEKRASIVY is a sublimatic modern version of the Ukrainian folk song “Oh, on the mountain that woman will reap”. Jerry Heil’s song features the most popular names of Ukraine – President Volodymyr Zelensky, Governor of the Mykolaiv ODA Vitaliy Kim, Head of the OPU Oleksiy Arestovich of the ZSU War.
